This individual will be working with our in-house legal staff and operations team in support of legal collections activities. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to be part of a unique start-up experience. This rare and challenging environment offers an aggressive start-up with the support of a publicly traded company’s resources and infrastructure.As a key leader in a rapidly growing team the Legal Support Manager will be responsible for production targets and the day-to-day operations and management of the Legal Specialist teams. In addition to Legal Production responsibilities the Legal Support Manager will collaborate with state attorneys and project developers to expand operations nationally. Primary responsibilities include: Managing 5 to 15 legal specialists/paralegals Ensuring that all tasks are completed to established quality standards Adhering to all applicable laws and Encore’s Consumer Bill of Rights Prioritizing and allocating tasks to ensure department meets collection and production goals Partnering across Encore sites to optimize work flow and process efficiencies Creating, setting and communicating performance plans to drive results Developing and maintaining relationship with key partners both internally and externally Resolving or escalate production breakdowns to ensure that resources can be appropriately allocated to achieve department goals Conducting on-going coaching and training for Legal Specialist teams on an as needed basis Utilizing and developing production reporting to accurately represent status and identify opportunities Partnering with attorneys, process and project managers, IT and analysts to ensure department achieves expansion goalsRequired skills, education, and experience: Bachelor’s degree 3-10 years experience in a process/production/operations management role, or equivalent education and experience Solid quantitative and analytical skills Proficiency in MS Office to include advanced skills in Word and Excel Program or relationship management skills as well as strong people management skills Superior verbal and written communication skills, and very detail oriented Lean/Six Sigma or similar process improvement experienceIf you are looking for a rewarding career in a successful and growing organization, please submit your resume and salary history for consideration to and reference job code LSM-EC in the subject line.
