Prestigious Downtown Law Firm Seeks Front Desk Receptionist

Details: Prestigious downtown law firm with beautiful offices seeks an experienced front desk receptionist for a temp to perm opportunity. Pay- $15.00-18.00/hr, temp to perm.Candidates MUST have previous experience (6 months to 3 years+) in front desk reception work at a top law firm, hedge fund or financial services corporation. This is a unique opportunity to be a true gatekeeper, therefore impeccable presentation and personality are required. Job Responsibilities Include: •Manage a multi-line phone console including answering incoming calls, responding to callers' inquires, forwarding callers to appropriate individuals or voicemail boxes and taking and forwarding messages.•Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel•Monitors visitor passes and issues passes when required•Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and conferences•Work with building Security on visitor requests •Answer questions about organization and provide callers with address, direction and other information•Updates appointments calendars•Prepare travel vouchers•Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collatingQualifications:•Strong interpersonal relations, customer service, public relations skills•Problem solving ability•Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job•Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions and prioritize tasks at hand•Microsoft Office- intermediate proficiency at a minimum (candidates will be tested)It is a definite plus to be bilingual in any language, or have familiarity with meeting room booking software.If you meet the minimum requirements of this position, please apply directly to this advertisement and activate an account at www.manpowerjobs.com.
