KEYE TV in Austin, Texas is looking for a Promotion Writer/Producer You will be an essential team member within the in-house advertising and marketing department for the CBS station in Austin. Our role is to create advertising, marketing and promotion for the TV station that increases awareness and viewership. Your primary responsibilities and duties include: creating, writing, producing, shooting and editing station image, special report, station event, topical promotion and website promotion, coordination of on-air logs and daily promotional inventory. If you are the right person for the position, you must be able to conceptualize, write and produce advertising for television, radio, web and outdoor. You will produce video shoots on location and at the station. You will work hand-in-hand with the Creative Services Director to develop, brainstorm and create a variety of advertising in traditional, interactive and non-traditional media. Teamwork and collaboration are also necessary skills. Qualifications: Excellent creative, advertising and copywriting skills are a must. Must be a proficient FinalCut Pro editor (no beginners please) and have experience with a variety of High Definition and/or film cameras. You must be comfortable with changing technology and production techniques. Excellent organization skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
