Contract Administrator/Merchant Processing Specialist

Details: This position processes applications with speed, quality, and a high service level in order to be efficient at the respective duties. This includes preparing contracts for implementation of the Merchant Cash Advance and Merchant Processing partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: • • Track and maintain processing applications and other related documents to insure accurate retention of records; • Organize and maintain merchant services documents and files correspondence and other related records; • Review and analyze credit card processing applications for completeness and accuracy; • Perform application verification calls to all potential new merchants for quality control; • Obtain omitted information from applicant and/or sales representative to complete Merchant Services application; • Retrieves personal and business credit reports from credit bureaus through internal systems; • Perform merchant references to obtain eligibility standards; • Completes Credit Scoring of contract via internal Credit Scoring Model; • Perform basic underwriting tasks based upon company parameters; • Ensure compliance to all AMI underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures while keeping informed of industry standards and new initiatives; • Analyze and maintain portfolio performance which is dependent on corporate funding base criteria and expectations; • Perform Underwriting adjustments to maintain eligibility guidelines and future performance criteria; • Review and analyze credit card processing applications for completeness and accuracy; • Review credit card rates with potential new customers; • Enter data for Merchant Services contracts via internet directly to specified processor’s underwriting department; • Coordinate schedules and makes appointments with merchants to download terminals; • Note the status regarding daily updates of a merchant’s application status into internal systems; • Utilize various software programs to correspond to management, sales force, and/or merchant processing partners; • Other duties may be assigned. Communicate daily with merchants, sales support, sales force and sales managers;
