Details: Classification: Customer Service Compensation: $9.50 to $11.00 per hour SummaryThis position is responsible for providing general administrative support to the Sales Department and performing initial customer pre-qualifying functions.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInvestigates leads to determine appropriate contact information for potential clients.Establishes initial telephone contact to introduce the company and obtain preliminary information.Pre-qualifies client to determine interest level, number of potential sites, and general geographic information by capturing detailed information from client. Track all pre-qualifications in sales database.Responsible for coordinating and distributing introductory marketing information and brochures to potential clients.Assists sales department with updating PowerPoint slide presentations.Coordinate development and completion of sales presentation folders and materials.Administer and maintain contact lists for potential clients to include accurate telephone, e-mail, and direct mail address information.Research and coordinate all travel arrangements for sales department and corporate.Assist with sales department database administration including, but not limited to, tracking, updating, and maintaining account information.Assist Director of Sales with correspondence, filing, and other general administrative duties.Responsible to be direct back up to receptionist for all incoming calls. Will answer phones and help incoming callers whenever needed. Must show initiative and be a self-starter.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a sales or a customer service related department highly desirable.Previous telephone sales experience is highly preferred.Some college coursework preferred.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
